About Michelle
My path to becoming a counsellor began after years in high-pressure work environments that left me feeling exhausted and disconnected. That experience became the turning point that led me to yoga, and to a deeper journey of healing and growth.
In my first yoga class, the words “Today is the best day of your life” sparked something profound. It was a reminder that change is always possible, and that every moment holds the potential for renewal.
That realisation has shaped how I work today. In counselling, I support clients to explore where they feel stuck, open to new perspectives, and make intentional choices that align with what matters most to them.
Just as yoga taught me presence, curiosity, and self-compassion, these same qualities form the foundation of my counselling practice. My approach is person-centred and strengths-based, grounded in empathy, attuned listening, and genuine care. By integrating mindfulness with evidence-informed counselling, I offer a holistic approach that supports both inner and outer change.
I work with individuals, couples, and families through life’s many seasons, including anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and times of transition.
Counselling, for me, is about creating space for understanding and growth. It’s an invitation to reconnect with yourself, gain clarity, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and whole.
