Walk and Talk Therapy
Finding clarity and connection through nature
Walk and talk therapy takes counselling outdoors, blending evidence-based support with the calming, restorative effects of nature. Instead of meeting in a traditional therapy room, we walk side by side in a safe, natural setting while gently exploring whatever feels important to you.
For many people, walking makes it easier to open up. The rhythm of movement and the spaciousness of the outdoors can ease tension and help conversations flow more naturally. Being in nature often brings a sense of grounding and presence, supporting reflection and calm.
Why Walk and Talk?
• Encourages connection with self and nature
• Can help reduce anxiety and lift mood
• Supports emotional regulation through gentle movement
• Offers a setting that may feel more comfortable than a seated session
Things to Know:
•Sessions are held on the Sunshine Coast at an agreed outdoor location. Travel beyond 15 minutes may attract a small additional cost, confirmed at the time of booking.
~ Fee: $150 per 60-minute session.
• We walk at a pace that feels right for you — there’s no rush.
• You don’t need to be “fit”; this isn’t exercise-focused.
• Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended.
• Weather permitting — in the event of heavy rain or extreme heat, sessions can be rescheduled or moved to Telehealth (phone or video).
